Digital imaging solutions company, Business By Technology Ltd (BBT), has signed a five year lease of Unit 01 at Digital Park, adjacent to Media:CityUK in Salford Quays.
The new 3,195 square foot self contained office building is one of seven units within Digital Park. Northern Way Properties funded the development by Peel Investments and the waterfront scheme has been selected by BBT as their new Manchester office.
Chris Hutchings of BBT commented "strong demand for BBT's copy and print systems and BBT’s managed print service offering, has driven rapid UK business growth. In response, Digital Park presents an excellent platform to expand our business in the North West region. It will deliver first rate facilities, space and location for our new flagship regional office."
Geoff Hill, Director of Northern Way Properties said. "The market remains challenging but the opening of the new link road between Salford Quays and the M602 has significantly improved access to Digital Park and raised its profile. This, together with the increasing focus on Media City as the BBC’s occupation draws near, has caused a discernible uplift in occupier demand"
A second deal at Digital Park is in solicitor’s hands and is expected to complete shortly.
Canning O'Neill and Lambert Smith Hampton are the retained letting agents.
